Affirmations for positive change from Louise Hay’s Heal Your Life

Affirmations work best when:

  • They are written in the present tense
  • They are positive statements (no can’t, won’t, should etc)
  • You view them daily (read them, couple this with visualisation for more impact)
  • You repeat them daily (say them aloud to yourself)
  • You write them out in your own hand writing (Kinaesthetic connection)

In fact, why not choose a few that you like and write them out on project board and decorate them and pop them where you will see them – on your mirror, the inside of your clothes cupboard, on the bathroom wall that you face when brushing your teeth… wherever you spend a few minutes a day were you can see them)
