Success Lessons from Bees

The 7 lessons:

Lesson 1: Honeybee or drone – what is your purpose?

We look at the differences between a job and a purpose and how we can align our personal vision to the company’s vision.

Lesson 2: You are the bees knees – knowing yourself

We align personal and company values, identify our perceptions, strengths and talents.  We discover what success means to us and what truly motivates us, while identifying our attitudes that limit us.

Lesson 3: Your Honey Pot – steps for achievement & success

We explore goal setting fundamentals and the art of visualising the end goal.  We look at the importance of seeing it in order to achieve it as well as aligning job specific goals to the department or company’s goals.

Lesson 4: Bee Dances – How effective is your communication?

We cross-examine individual communication styles within the team.  Greater understanding results in fewer misunderstandings and less conflict.  We examine communication as a champion to achieving goals.

Lesson 5: Pollination – maximizing and leveraging your success

We examine the team’s strengths and weaknesses and how we can utilise them to ensure a fully functioning business unit – “the hive”.  We revisit the team’s limitations and find creative ways to leverage each others strengths for the benefit of the end goal.

Lesson 6: Beehaviour – are you reacting or responding?

We investigate how we behave under stress and the fundamental triggers that unconsciously drive us.  With this awareness the participants can begin transforming previous habits of reaction to proactive achievement.

Lesson 7: Hibernation – consolidation and reflection

The last lesson is focused on introspection and summation.  While the lessons above have mostly included the business or functional department, this section is about each participant reflecting on where they need to make changes and knowing how those changes will benefit them in achieving success in the long run.  Remembering of course that their success becomes the company’s success!

‘Sometimes managers miss out on the opportunity to motivate their teams to achieve greater results, because they believe they should be motivating themselves.

It’s a fact that a lack of motivation for any reason will put you and your team’s further back from achieving results and while it’s true that motivation comes from within, it’s the daily stresses, deadlines & the current economic climate that play a major role in demoralising staff and stifling productivity.

Does this ring true for you … and your staff?

It’s amazing what you can learn from nature, and in the process of writing our workshop on ‘how to discover your life purpose’ we uncovered life lessons taught by honeybees, that are especially relevant in today’s business.

Besides being industrious creatures, they work in teams communicating effectively, they work for a common purpose and in performing their daily duties of home making, protection and bread winning they are excellent networkers, and they make lots of money … I mean honey!

So, stop for a moment and consider :

What your business/department would look like if everyone was more motivated, even better – self-motivated?

Where would your business/department be if your team was firing on all cylinders, while your competitors floundered about you?

How much more powerful would you be if you unlocked the value of your team by helping them navigate the negativity of the doomsayers
to create a more positive outlook?

Think of the return benefit for your business if you’re able to provide your team with some tools to improve their general wellbeing and career outlook?
If your team has been stung, we have a solution for you.  You’ll be astounded to know that YOU can turn a team around.

If you would like to help your team overcome obstacles, observe opportunities and obtain outcomes that would benefit your business,
then you’re ready to participate in the ‘Success Lessons from Bees’ workshop, aimed at helping you and your staff unleash immense potential.

As you consider the multitude of benefits you’ll receive by attending the ‘Success Lessons from Bees’ workshop, we know you’ll want to share this opportunity with your team.

“The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind.”
William James

Find your place to begin

Pooh looked at his two paws. He knew that one of them was the right, and he knew that when you had decided which one of them was the right, then the other was the left, but he never could remember how to begin” – AA Milne

What others have to say…

“Extraordinary. Great practical methodology to visualise and achieve what you never thought possible!” – Kerryn-Leigh – Marketing Consultant

“Intense, revealing, enlightening allowing you to visualize yourself as you may want to see yourself. If you cannot see it – you cannot be it.  I am a strong believer that people make their own luck and often tend to make the same mistakes over and over again – not able to see the pattern. You are able to sensatise people to the PATTERN without SAYING it directly. I think that you hypnotise people, working on their brain waves, without them realizing this. Thank you!
